An unprecedented artistic takeover of one of the UAE’s most exclusive aviation spaces
Dubai, UAE, February 20, 2026: French artist Marjorie Raymond has unveiled a landmark exhibition inside the private aviation terminal of ExecuJet Middle East at Al Maktoum International Airport, marking the first-ever art show of its kind within such a space in the UAE.
Known for her highly textured abstract works that combine acrylic, natural elements, and mineral finishes, Raymond has built an international presence over more than 25 years, with pieces held in distinguished private collections and prestigious residences worldwide, including the UAE Royal Family palaces.
For this unique occasion, the terminal, normally reserved for ultra-high-net-worth travellers, heads of state, and global business leaders, was transformed into an exhibition setting, bringing curated works into a space defined by discretion, sophistication and rarity.
“It is truly special to have my work shown in a space not typically dedicated to art but instead in an environment that usually operates behind closed doors, now transformed into a setting where it can be experienced in an unforseen way’’ said Marjorie Raymond.
The invitation-only evening welcomed over 250 distinguished guests, including VIPs, diplomats, official delegations, prominent collectors, and internationally recognised cultural figures. By placing contemporary art in such an exclusive setting, the exhibition created a private convergence of creativity, influence and international dialogue.
The show marks a new chapter for experiencing art in unexpected environments, demonstrating how contemporary creativity can intersect with infrequent elevated spaces; creating memorable cultural experiences that stay with guests long after their visit.
About Marjorie Raymond: Marjorie Raymond, a French artist raised in Brazil and now residing Dubai, has channeled her deep emotional experiences into her abstract art for over 25 years.
Each piece is thoughtfully composed with a spectacular combination of highly textured elements such as acrylic paint, rocks, charcoal, sand and diamond dust all carefully designed to create a stunning visual feast.
